Rap VS Metal
NOTE: this post means no offense! only opinions.
what do you think 'bout rap music compared to metal music? The way they affect on you, or the way they 'guide' you? Or wanna say something else about the matter?
I personally dislike rap music a lot! Sometimes it even gives me headache (really!). So it loses 100 - 0 to metal music. Metal gives me usually really good feeling like getting drunk ;D but rap music instead steals it away.. So, what about you guys? =)

its like anything else. its starts out new and fresh, with a lot of meaning and emotion. then some makes a few bucks and bam now everyone is doing it with nice prepackaged music and lyrics, along with the proper image.

I must agree.Although i respect that its the taste of black youth for me it has no power.They sample rock all the time and it pisses me off.Puff daddy talking over kashmir by zep.No bueno.Nothing has the power of a live band.Sampled drums dont do it.I really wish young black dudes would pick up a freakin guitar and jam.We almost had our next hendrix with eric gales but the mofo bailed.the song sign of the storm was promising but he gave it up.Don't feel bad to express the truth.rap is nowhere near the depth of rock.some lyrics are deep but they got no music.

agree.. shame on us dying and even greater shame for backstreet boys for not to die... cocroaches and their 'Human Trash' would be much promising on rock fest
